Victor Mederos has taken Braves Country by storm to start the second half of the season. The latest chapter in his growing legend was on Monday night, as he backed Bryce Elder’s excellent start with a 2 1/3 innings save. A mixture of high energy and velocity, Mederos has continued to look impressive in his appearances. And he is not only getting the job done, but also is showing to have pretty quality stuff in the process. He could be a mainstay for the Braves bullpen moving forward.

Hurston Waldrep experienced arm discomfort over the weekend and will be further evaluated in the near future. The initial response from the Braves was not that encouraging.
