Ademola Lookman netted his very first goal in Atlético Madrid colors on Thursday night. The Nigerian has already managed to impress Diego Simeone.
Ademola Lookman shone on his debut for Atlético Madrid against Real Betis (5-0) this Thursday in the Copa del Rey. Scoring one goal and providing an assist, the Nigerian international earned high praise from his coach, Diego Simeone.
"He’s a forward with qualities that are different from our other players. I hope he will make the team stronger. His characteristics speak for themselves. He’s unique. He’s a specialist in one-on-ones. He can play in several positions. He had an immediate and very impressive impact on our game," said the Argentine coach to the media.
