Having just arrived at Atlético Madrid a few days ago, Ademola Lookman has already won over Diego Simeone.
Ademola Lookman signed for Atlético Madrid during the latest winter transfer window from Atalanta. The Nigerian quickly found his place at Atlético Madrid, already netting two goals. Ahead of the first leg of the Champions League playoff against Club Brugge this Wednesday, Diego Simeone highlighted the unique contribution the Nigerian striker brings to his attacking setup.
"He has different qualities compared to our other forwards. He's more of a specialist in one-on-ones than in combination play, even though he can do that as well, and he immediately made a very good impact on the team," said the Argentine coach.
