Dillingham has been doing a pretty good job of bringing in HS guys so far early in this recruiting season. It will be interesting to see what other transfers he can get.

Committed to: Arizona State

247Sports rank: 3-star | 88 rating | No. 49 IOL

Recruiting background: A 6-foot-5, 272-pound offensive lineman out of Kahuku (Hawaii) High School, Saluni committed to the Sun Devils on the heels of an official visit to Tempe. He picked Arizona State over offers from California, Washington State, Boise State, Hawaii and Nevada, among others. Arizona State offensive line coach Saga Tuitele was the lead recruiter for Saluni, who becomes commit No. 16 for Kenny Dillingham and company in the 2024 recruiting cycle. He has committed to play in the 2024 Polynesian Bowl all-star game.

Dec. 5: Jason Brown | RB

(Photo: Brandon Huffman, 247Sports)
Committed to: Arizona State

247Sports rank: 4-star | 92 rating | No. 176 Overall | No. 13 RB

Recruiting background: A 5-foot-10, 205-pound running back out of Seattle (Wash.) O’Dea, Brown committed to the Sun Devils in the wake of an official visit to Tempe, choosing Kenny Dillingham’s program over a group of finalists that included Michigan State, Oregon and Washington. His primary recruiter was Arizona State running backs coach Shaun Aguano, while tight ends coach Jason Mohns also assisted in his recruitment. He is the 17th commitment for the Sun Devils in the 2024 recruiting cycle. Brown will play in both the All-American Bowl in San Antonio and the Polynesian Bowl in Honolulu in January.

Abbreviated scouting report: “Brown has redefined his body for his senior year. He looks faster and more explosive while still flashing his usual vision and balance that allows him to churn out more yards after initial contact. He's also seen some time in the secondary, but make no mistake, he's a running back.” — 247Sports national recruiting editor Brandon Huffman

Currently ranked #44 class by Rivals. So, improvement over the last two years for sure. IDK anything about these kids, can really speak to it. They have 5 from Texas, so that is good. au is ranked #51.

Touted TE recruit Jayden Fortier is dealing with an ACL injury  and also won't be early enrolling at ASU after all. But there seems to be little doubt about him signing an NLI with the Sun Devils.

The Raiola flip to Nebraska is the exact reason why nothing really matters until they sign. Unfortunately, now it also means in a year they can leave without penalty which makes it even tougher on programs.

Some early morning official signees (which were expected). Carrington is killing it in the TX area.:

From Seattle - signed on the bottom line! The letters from the two touted Oregon kids, Fortier and Kim, are also in.

A lot of 3 stars in the transfer and recruits, but they are addressing the DL and OL. Nice to see this many kids.

https://247sports.com/Season/2024-football-20241/OverallTeamRankings/?OrderBy=Total Tied for 1st in the country for total new kids.
The last part is somewhat concerning given what happened to Colorado this past season when they had the most newbies. But this is kind of the new world order when it comes to college football and I guess when coaching staffs change.

Overall, I like the move near as I can tell they are all good. Now it’s time to coach them up in the weight room and on the field

From what I can tell, the biggest need for next year is OT. ASU has addressed the OL but could probably give the name "Guard U" a completely different meaning. ;) Hopefully some more help is coming in the portal.
