The Arnold Palmer Cup is headed back to the site of one of Palmer's greatest feats.
The annual event pitting a team of the best American college golfers against a squad of the best International college golfers heads to Cherry Hills Country Club outside Denver in 2027.

“Cherry Hills has long had a mission to host golf’s most iconic championships, and welcoming the Arnold Palmer Cup for a second time is a tremendous honor,” said David Keyte, tournament chairman for Cherry Hills. “The deep connection between Cherry Hills and Arnold Palmer — highlighted by his historic victory in the 1960 U.S. Open — makes this opportunity especially meaningful. We are proud to help carry forward his legacy by hosting the next generation of the game’s great players.”
Palmer started the final round tied for 15th and was seven shots back of the lead. He drove the par-4 first green and went on to shoot 65 to complete the greatest final-round comeback in U.S. Open history.
The International team defeated the U.S. last Saturday in Ireland 30½ to 29½ in one of the closest margins of victory in Palmer Cup history. The U.S. now leads the all-time series 15-14-1.
Cherry Hills, a William Flynn design, hosts the Arnold Palmer Cup for a second time next summer in the 31st edition of the Ryder Cup-style event.
