FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football will open the Ryan Silverfield era with an afternoon kickoff inside Razorback Stadium.

The SEC announced television designations and game-times for the first three weeks of the regular season on Wednesday, May 27. The Razorbacks season-opener against North Alabama will be at 3:15 p.m. on Sept. 5. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network.

Arkansas hits the road the following week for a non-conference game against Utah. Silverfield will have to deal with an infamous night game inside Rice-Eccles Stadium with kickoff at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN.

The Hogs will open their SEC slate on Sept. 19 at home against Georgia at 11 a.m. That game will be on ABC.

The remaining kickoff times will be announced during the regular season.

The Bulldogs are one of two College Football Playoff teams on the Arkansas schedule, with the Razorbacks going to Texas A&M on Oct. 3.

The Hogs then play back-to-back games against teams from the Volunteer State. Arkansas hosts Tennessee on Oct. 10 and travels to play Vanderbilt on Oct. 17. That leads into the only open week of the season.

Arkansas will return to action at home against Missouri in Week 9 on Halloween. The Battle Line Rivalry had been the season finale for both schools since Missouri joined the SEC in 2014.

Instead of Missouri, Arkansas will reignite an old tradition by finishing its campaign with the Battle for the Golden Boot against LSU. The Tigers will come to Arkansas on Nov. 28.

The other three matchups in the final month of the season are at Auburn on Nov. 7, vs. South Carolina on Nov. 14 and at Texas on Nov. 21. It will be the second straight season the Hogs face the Longhorns in Austin, Texas.
