It's playoff time for the Arizona State Sun Devils athletic teams.
The coming week features men's and women's golf as well as baseball beginning play in the Big 12 tournament.
Coach Willie Bloomquist's baseball team has exceeded preseason expectations and has a strong chance to make the 64-team NCAA Tournament field. First, though, is the conference tournament in Surprise, with preliminary action beginning Tuesday, May 19.
ASU plays its first game the following day, May 20, against an opponent to be announced at the conclusion of the regular season.
Men's golf at NCAA Regionals. Time, location TBD.
Baseball at Big 12 tournament. Surprise. Games begin at 9 a.m. on May 20, with the matchups TBD.
Women's golf at NCAA Championships. Carlsbad, California. Time TBD.
