Arizona offensive coordinator Seth Doege said Sawyer Anderson and Luke Haugo are battling for the backup quarterback spot.

Four-star QB Oscar Rios, who missed the spring due to shoulder surgery, is still developing.

Doege said he'll make the decision for QB2 soon.

Arizona tight end Shane King goes by Suge. His parents nicknamed him Sugar Bear when he was a baby.

As Knight got older, it changed to Suge.

Arizona is unranked in the preseason AP Top 25 Poll, but the Wildcats received 32 votes — the 29th-most votes.

Four teams from the Big 12 are ranked: Texas Tech (12), BYU (14), Utah (21) and Houston (23).

Arizona receiver Chris Hunter is having a strong training camp. He's made a few eyebrow-raising plays lately.

Hunter was banged up throughout last season, but looks healthy. The starting trio of Tre Spivey, Gio Richardson and Chris Hunter is a solid group.
