They aren't a serious team. They blow things up every 7-8 years before poorly accumulating assets to do it again. It is kind of sad. I know basketball is popular there but Duke and NC State are more popular and will be until the Hornets get better ownership.

Free agent F Trendon Watford has agreed to a one-year, $2.9 million deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, sources tell ESPN. Watford considered multiple options but for New Orleans serves as a productive two-way get late into the offseason after a year in Philadelphia where he notched a 20-point, 17-rebound, 10-assist triple double in November.

The Nuggets and Cavaliers are deep in trade negotiations involving Peyton Watson.

Two deals could end up happening for Watson to end up in Cleveland, legally:

- Zeke Nnaji to Cleveland for minimum salary, which helps clear second apron

- Max Strus + a pick to Denver for Watson
