At Citizens Bank Park: Rodriguez was hammered by the Mets in the first game of this road trip, giving up eight runs and three homers in four innings. He walked one and struck out one. … It was his first true clunker of the year, but he also has not turned in any overly impressive outings in his first six starts. … In three career starts against the Phillies, Rodriguez has a 3.06 ERA in 17 2/3 innings. … Suarez will be making his first start of the year after missing the first month of the season due to lower back stiffness. … He has not fared well against the Diamondbacks in his career, logging a 5.09 ERA in 35 1/3 innings. 3B Eugenio Suarez has a homer and two walks off him in five career plate appearances.
