should have been 7 innings and 14K - that was a BS call on the check swing. Torrey is such a clown, bringing in Thompson in the 9th is moronic. Dude is a 6th inning guy. Does the 3 batter min carry over into starting other innings?

Torey is anything but a clown and a pitcher has to face a min of 3 batters. If that means a pitched faced 2 batters to end an inning, he would have to face another batter the following inning.

But once he started the ninth, he had to complete the three batters

So Torey could’ve either started someone else in the ninth or he had to do what he did and let Thompson pitch to two batters
