Kelly, Pfaadt and E-Rod this weekend. 2 of 3 should be the bare minimum. Offense absolutely needs to wake up.

3 games under .500 on the road is hard to characterize as "poor." The goal is always to play .500 on the road and much better at home. They're .570 at home with the same # of home W's as the Dodgers, Padres and Cubs, and more than the Phillies.

Under .500 on the road is "poor" by definition. To help you a bit, under .500 means you have lost more games than you've won. True contenders balance a "great" home record with a "good" road record or better. A "good" record is .500 or better. A "great" record is 10+ games over .500.

And for the record and as I’ve stated a hundred times now, it’s a miracle the Dbacks are in the position they’re in… Does their position in the standings make them a “true contender?” Seems that is a very subjective term…

Carroll is trending toward very dangerous territory. His swing is simply far too long. Yea, he might time one up every now and then, but for comparison - watch the swing of Alvarez and you’ll see how a consistent hitter and slugger swing the bat, as opposed to Carroll…
Well this was not correct
He’s also chasing a ton of crap pitches outside of the zone. He has no plate discipline right now
I think he’s hurt. He looked uncomfortable at the plate

He’s desperate and lost… never a good thing when you step to the plate and are clueless as to get the barrel of the bat on the ball.
Zero timely hitting out of this team. They leave a football team on the bases every game lately.
