The Arizona Cardinals lost on Sunday 40-20 to the Houston Texans. It was again an awful loss. However, while the saying "adding insult to injury," on Sunday, the Cardinals added injuries to insult.

There were three notable injuries to Cardinals players during the game we will have to pay attention to this coming week.

RB Bam Knight

Knight left the game after only one play. He was tackled for a two-yard loss on the Cardinals' first play from scrimmage and exited the game. On the field, it didn't look bad, but he was taken to the medical tent, examined, then was carted to the locker room. It was an ankle injury. He did not return to the game.

Knight was off the injury report last week after two weeks of being questionable to play with an ankle injury.

Based on how little he reportedly was able to put weight on it, Knight will likely miss at least this coming week's game.

WR Andre Baccellia

After kickoff return, it was a scary moment. Baccellia suffered a neck injury. He was taken off the field on a stretcher and carted off with his helmet on but with his facemask removed. He did give a thumbs-up sign coming off the field. He was taken to a local hospital, had feeling in and was able to move his extremities. He was able to fly home with the team.

LB Cody Simon

Simon played eight snaps and had to leave with a knee injury. He did not return. Akeem Davis-Gaither took over as the "green dot" player, taking the defensive calls as the "Mike" linebacker. Owen Pappoe played Davis-Gaither's spot.
