Arizona Cardinals bring in 4 cornerbacks for tryouts

The Arizona Cardinals have a day off on Monday, and they could have new players on the roster. On Saturday, they had four reported tryouts, all defensive backs.

According to the NFL transaction list, they brought in the following players:

• CB Ryan Cooper
• CB Ricardo Hallman
• CB DaShawn Jones
• CB Quinton Newsome

Cooper is a 5-11, 192-lb corner known as "Bump." He played most recently for Birmingham in the UFL. He went undrafted out of Oregon State in 2024. He has played in one NFL game, for the Baltimore Ravens in 2024, and he has spent time with the Ravens, Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.

Hallman is a rookie free agent out of Wisconsin who is 5-10 and 190 pounds. He picked off seven passes in 2023.

Jones is a six-foot, 190-pound cornerback who is a rookie free agent from Alabama. He spent time this offseason with the New Orleans Saints.

Newsome has been with the Denver Broncos since 2024 after going undrafted out of Nebraska.
