The Arizona Cardinals released their regular-season schedule on Wednesday. Now we know when they play all their set opponents. They have two prime-time games with a chance at a third late in the season.
They start with two games they should take advantage of. Stacking wins early will be important.
But the Cardinals have struggled in recent years with finishing the season. They have postseason aspirations and need to prove they can finish strong.
Their schedule does them no favors. They have a brutal end-of-season schedule.
Here are the Cardinals' final six games of the season:
They play four of their final six games on the road. Four of the games are against three teams that won their divisions last season (Bucs, Rams, Texans).
The other two teams, the Bengals and Falcons, were in the postseason race down to the wire last year.
The Cincinnati game is a potential bad-weather game, as it is in Ohio just after Christmas.
With such a tough slate of games to end the season, it will either feed the narrative that the Cardinals can't win down the stretch, or it will set them up for the postseason with tough competition late in the year, basically keeping them in playoff mode the final month of the year.
