Dec. 7—KIMBALL, S.D. — Winner claimed the Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes Invitational team title on Saturday, powered by four individual champions.
The Warriors had 199.5 points, followed by KWLPG with 183 points and Parkston with 107 points. Bracket champions for Winner included Apollo Willuweit (106), Judd Hansen (113), Rylan Robbins (120) and Roukyn Robbins (126), while Ash Kaiser (150), Max Fiesterman (165), Mason Curtis (215) and Legend Benedict (285) finished second.
KWLPG's winners included Johnny Lenz (157) and Carter Konechne (165). Jaxton Hill (175) and Gannon Knebel (215) topped the podium for Wagner.
Wyatt Anderson (190) and Gage Jodozi (285) won titles for Parkston. Daniel Dorsey won the 144-pound title for Mount Vernon/Plankinton/Corsica-Stickney and Jackson Carter (138) and Ethan Rearick (150) won titles for Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington
* Hadlee Kracht, of Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon, won her 100th match on Saturday at the Viborg-Hurley girls dual tournament. BHSA finished 1-2 in the event, with a 30-6 win over Canistota, a 45-18 loss to eventual champion LeMars (Iowa) and a 42-24 loss to Sheldon/South O'Brien (Iowa).
* Howard finished fifth at the Flandreau Booster Club Invitational, which was won by Madison. Nolan Mentele won the 190-pound title for the Tigers and Kingston Feldhaus was a second-place finisher at 132 pounds.
* At the Stanley County Invitational in Fort Pierre, Lyman's Lane Coleman was the champion at 132 pounds, winning three matches in a round-robin format. Royal Lulf was second at 165 pounds, as was Desmerius McGhee at 285 pounds for Lyman. Philip/Kadoka Area/Wall led the team scoring with 217.5 points, followed by the host Buffaloes with 135 points and Lyman in third with 107 points.
* McCook Central/Montrose's Parker Randall finished second at 132 pounds to lead the Fighting Cougars at the Top of the Rock Tournament in Dell Rapids. The Fighting Cougars finished sixth as a team with 73 points. Canton won the team points race with 222.5 points, followed by Tri-Valley with 146.5 points and Adrian Area (Minn.) with 138 points.
* The Chamberlain boys finished sixth at the O'Neill (Neb.) Invitational. Xavier Donovan had the top boys finish in second place at 175 pounds.
