Logan Tollison continued his perfect season while helping the Grand Ledge wrestling team have a strong showing Saturday, Feb. 21 at an individual regional at Portage Northern.
Tollison, a Michigan State signee, was the champion at 285 pounds while being among three Grand Ledge wrestlers to capture regional championships. He won his title match by fall.
Sam Steinacker and Eben Abdo were the other regional champions for Grand Ledge. Steinacker won at 215 pounds and earned a 4-1 decision in the final. Abdo claimed the title at 132 and won his championship match by technical fall.
Division 2 at Fowlerville
Charlotte, Fowlerville and Portland each had multiple wrestlers finish as regional champions. Portland led the way with three champions as Bradley Meyers, Landon Guilford and Branlun Simon each captured titles.
Meyers was the champion at 190 pounds, Guilford won at 215 pounds and Simon finished first at 120. Simon and Meyers each remained unbeaten this season with their wins.

Charlotte had Tyler Densmore win a title at 150 pounds and Brock Foster win at 176 pounds. Fowlerville's champions were Layne O'Neil at 285 pounds and Ryder Kleinschmidt at 138.
The other area champions at the regional were St. Johns' Donovan Quinn (126), DeWitt's Tyler Bashore (157) and Williamston's Hawk Harding (165).
Division 3 at Leslie
Laingsburg freshman Dylan Phillips was the lone area wrestler to finish as a champion at this regional. Phillips won at 106 pounds and won 6-3 in the title match.
Division 4 at St. Louis
Fulton's Roman Patmon finished as the area's lone champion at this regional. Patmon won the 144 weight class with a 9-8 victory in the title match.
