I just finished reading Gambo's "plan" and listened to the Channel 12 clip from the AZR site.
If you were a FA prospect visiting the Valley or checking out the Cardinals on the Internet by reading the local papers, wouldn't all that negative commentary (no matter how justified) turn you off?
Taking it one step farther (and perhaps giving ourselves more credit than we deserve) - does anyone here feel that some of the more "intense" ranting, whining and gallows humor on this bb might convey a message to prospective FA prospects that the Cardinals are a bad team going in the wrong direction with lousy media and fan support and not worth considering?
We're all frustrated. We all want to vent. But there's a fine line between constructive criticism and whining or throwing a temper tantrum. When any of us do that, we don't do the Cardinals any favors.
i.e. If you want the Cards to win, cool it with the rhetoric.
