His last year was at OKU. Doesn't matter really it totally debunks the theory that Bama doesn't produce QBs the last 50 years.
Plus Jones went to Bama which Britt was clamoring for earlier this year as well.

Total bs posting.

Are you high? Where of I clamored for Mac Jones?

Hurts was drafted from OU. Therefor he's not a Bama QB. This isn't hard.

Evidence the Cards are tanking: a UFA period that looked more like the actions of a team that won 13 games, not 3. One starter and depth pieces.

Evidence they arent tanking: they signed Gardner Minshew. A tanking team would have almost welcomed Brisset missing a bunch of games and having to start Kedon Slovis or a QB like that.

Cards aren't tanking. They are filling the holes with players that are willing to come here and salaries are reasonable. They will try to fill more of the holes in the draft and will draft a qb to develop. It could be Simpson on draft day one or one of the other top 3 rated qbs on day 2.

Simpson was awesome for about 9 games this past year. There is some speculation that he was playing with a back injury those last 5 games that significantly impacted his ability. Based on those 9 great games, he looked like a legit franchise quarterback.
He had a health condition that tanked his weight and couldn’t build it back up during the season. He was under his high school weight by the bowl season.

Simpson is a gamble without question. He is not a great physical specimen, but I’m always intrigued by students of the game, who can throw the tree. I like the gamble, but not at three. It would be fun to have a potential starter that focuses at getting better.
