OK. I'd love to hear where you gleaned this from. However since you asked, if you think that was handled correctly then you and I have vastly different views on what should be done in emergency situations.

+1

That was just wrong.

Any kindhearted attempt to give things to the homeless will be an unmitigated, unqualified and dangerous disaster. These people aren't down and out, and homeless because all those nasty working people stole their happiness.

The first day you may be met with some thank you's. The next few months may function. Then all the things you work hard to give away become expected. Then demanded after a while as if it were deserved. Then demands for expansion until all the resources are sucked dry.

Then they'll move on.

To take that attitude one or two steps further, what you are saying is similar to why try to help or get involve in bring peace to secular religious regions of the world like the middle east who have been fighting for thousands of years, and don't seem capable of ever changing.

Or heck, you could even say that refugees are all mooches and trouble makers. Why help people who won't even stand up and fight for their own land or country?

What we need are a few strategic, and secret, holocausts. The planet is too over populated anyway. It is only natural that the weak, incapable, and ignorant be eliminated. It would be for the good of all and the planet to have a good cleansing. We wouldn't have all these pitiful homeless, refugees, and religious zealots and troublemakers, draining us of our finances and resources, if we had strong political leaders who would make the hard choices for us. Just do what is necessary and get rid of these people. Do it quick and do it thoroughly, once and for all. If we just had someone with the guts to tell it like it truly is, he/she would get my vote.

To sum up, there is only one real and total solution, holocaust them, vaporize every last one of them, leaving no trace that they ever existed!

I could have used this at least 2 dozen SBF posts ago, but I saved it for "that" special post..... And here it is.

SBF has officially "jumped the shark" folks...... It was fun while it lasted, I'm now tuning over to Joanie loves Chachi.

Hold on you're on to something. What if after we killed them we turned them in to food for the starving. Nothing like Soylent Green Tuesday.

Well for starters they're not actually designed to do that as the people at the Louisiana Superdome could attest to.

Yes there is lots of space and lots of bathrooms but they're not designed to be used like that for very long, you'd end up with a huge medical issue if you did that, which is what happened in the Superdome.

I do think owners are selfish but for other reasons, making all this money knowing full well the players have to keep fighting to get better benefits after they retire knowing that so many of them are going to have serious health issues the rest of their lives.

Jerry Jones just worries about his tan, I don't think it really concerns him that Tony Romo will probably have all sorts of head and neck problems when he gets older.

I didn't read every post, but the Cardinals do not own the stadium. It is owned by the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority. The Cardinals just manage it on their behalf. I think the Authority would have something to say about using the facility for something that is not a part of its mission.

Whoa whoa whoa, you are not understanding what I am saying at all. Yes the situation itself was handled badly, but we were focusing on the SuperDome portion itself. Let's stick to that. So you'd rather they not use a large building that is used to holding large events with tens of thousands of people in an emergency because of the costs involved? Really?

NFL Owners are businessmen. Alpha male mentality. They are in it to generate the highest amount of profit they can. It's obvious this is true when examining every move the owners take. Yes they are greedy. I wish I could be greedy like them.

That's cute, except that I am right. I have to work no harder than to point you in the direction of every government program that has ever existed. And the people who march in protest at the mere mention of being denied the right to invade other peoples paychecks at their whim, through their elected democrat henchmen.

Name any government assist program that hasn't grown to be a monstrosity, breaking the financial back of the country and yet still solving no problems at all.

Please keep on topic as this is also very close to being moved to P&R.
