Anyone Notice that by cutting players we always seem to do them a favor?

Jamir Miller to Cleveland = WHO?
Aeneas Williams to Rams = WHO?
David Boston to Miami = WHO?

I guess it is not always "my bad" for the Cards

Maybe my memory is off, but didn't Aeneas win a title with the Rams? Or did they win the year before?

Boston went to SD and crashed and burned there too, before Miami.

Aeneas Williams played in 6 playoff games for the Rams (including one Super Bowl), but hey at least we netted Michael Stone from that trade:bang: .

Jamir Miller had a great first year in Cleveland after he left and was a huge loss.

Jamir Miller was outstanding in Cleveland until he blew out his achilles. Letting him walk for nothing was a fiasco. He was the leader of the playoff team's defense. McKinnon talked, but it was Miller who made plays.

It's not hard to find a list of better teams that FA's have gone to after leaving the Cards--face it, the Cards haven't been a good team and odds are players are going to better their chances for a superbowl somewhere else.

Is this a surprise? Cards have been in the bottom 3-5 forever so whenever players leave either getting cut or FA, chances are they are going to be picked up by a better team. DUH!

Aeneas left the Cards for a contender the "Rams." He played in 6 playoff games and in a superbowl but he never won a ring. So close yet so far.

Anthony Clement is a Jet these days. That's a lot of travel for a guy who's been a starter multiple places.

Horrible. I was so happy to see him and his HUGE saucer like eyes leave. I can't think of a worse player that I have seen.

I wonder if I could find an old post where I tore the guy to shreds. That is the only thing I liked about Anthony "Young Frankenstien" Clement. After a bad loss, which he usually had a HUGE hand in, I could rip him to shreds. Not only was the guy my punching bag to vent on, he deserved it.

Those Cut

The three players were cut early, so they COULD latch on with another team. According to coach Whiz, they were let go because their style did not fit the Cardinals new style. Who knows, other players/agents may see this and say, "The Cards treat their players okay, and if I get a chance as a FA, maybe I'll sign with them".

I think it is good that we can cut players who are actually wanted by other teams, on the other hand...
