On January 15, 2017, the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs on the strength of six Chris Boswell field goals. It was a massive road win and sent the Steelers to the AFC title game against the New England Patriots.

The Chiefs win would mark the last time the Steelers won a playoff game and if you believe in curses, the infamous Facebook Live video former Steeler Antonio Brown did postgame in the locker room. Brown did it as part of a brand deal with Facebook and even livestreamed during former head coach Mike Tomlin's postgame speech, although it was clear Tomlin had no idea.

Brown was not disciplined for this violation of team rules and when he was asked, played it off like he didn't even know it happened.

The next week, this confident group headed to New England and were promptly blown out by Tom Brady at the Patriots, 36-17. Including this loss, the Steelers have dropped seven straight playoff games.
