Another top offensive lineman on Miami Dolphins draft radar

The Miami Dolphins are continuing to spend time with the 2026 NFL Draft’s top-tier offensive line prospects. We’ve heard they have interest in Spencer Fano of Utah and Francis Mauigoa of Miami, but Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network is reporting a new name on Wednesday — one the Dolphins have spent a good amount of time with according to the veteran insider.


Monroe Freeling of Georgia is apparently on Miami’s radar. Freeling — a 6’7”, 315 lb behemoth — is considered one of the top tackles in this year’s selection process. Plenty of mock draft experts have him going in the top-10 of next Thursday’s first round.


If he were to drop to pick #11, would the Dolphins pounce?


Here’s what Lance Zierlein of NFL.com had to say about Freeling.

“Freeling offers coveted length and athleticism at right tackle. With only one season as a full-time starter, filling out his frame and improving his technique should be early priorities. His quickness brings first-phase positioning advantages, but he needs more play strength to carry that over to block sustain and finish. Lunging and deadening feet post-punch must be coached out of his muscle memory in pass protection so his athleticism and length can do their jobs. Independent hand usage and a reliable “snatch and trap” could instantly bolster his success rate. There is some buyer beware on tape, but if smoothed out, he has the ceiling of a quality NFL starter.“
