EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso is already gearing up for one of the biggest fights in city history—and now, it just got even bigger.
We’re less than two months away from the highly anticipated world title rematch between El Paso’s Stephanie Han and Albuquerque’s Holly Holm. Han will put her WBA lightweight championship on the line at the El Paso County Coliseum on May 30, with the fight set to be broadcast on ESPN.
That matchup alone had already positioned the event as one of the most significant fight nights the Sun City has ever seen.
But on Tuesday, more major news dropped.
Most Valuable Promotions announced that Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano will also be fighting on the May 30 card, adding even more star power to an already loaded event.
DOUBLE MAIN EVENT
History goes down in El Paso.

Serrano, widely considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in women’s boxing, enters with an impressive professional record of 48-4-1, including 31 knockouts.
The Puerto Rican champion currently holds both the WBO and WBA featherweight world titles, making her the unified champion in the division.
She is set to defend those titles against Cheyenne Hanson (17-2, 13 KOs) in a ten-round bout.
With Serrano now on the card, many might assume she would headline the event and close out the night.
However, that’s not the case.
Serrano’s fight will take place before the Stephanie Han vs. Holly Holm rematch, effectively serving as the co-main event of MVPW Three.
Naturally, that raised questions—why wouldn’t one of the best boxers in the world headline the event?
Serrano addressed those questions herself on Tuesday with a post on X, writing in part:
“I’m way too blessed to be playing that superstar role. I love both Stephanie [Han] and Holly [Holm] and as they just recently came over to my island of PR [Puerto Rico] and fought under me, why would I go to their hometown demanding taking their shine? Not how I do things. Respect for me is huge. In order to get it, I give it. I love Texas and El Paso has a bunch of my fans.”

With Serrano now part of the lineup, May 30 is shaping up to be a can’t-miss night for boxing fans in El Paso—featuring world champions, high stakes, and a spotlight that will be broadcast nationwide.
Also joining the main card will be MVP and Australia’s unified middleweight world champion Desley Robinson (11-3, 4 KOs) in a 10-round title defense at 160lbs against Canadian challenger Mary Spencer (10-3, 6 KOs). Mexico’s WBC junior flyweight world champion Lourdes “La Pequeña Lulu” Juarez (39-4, 5 KOs) will also make a 10-round defense of her WBC title against MVP’sthree-division champion Yokasta Valle (34-3, 10 KOs) as Valle steps up to fight for her seventh world title. MVPW on ESPN will always feature a main card composed entirely of female fighters, with an undercard including a mix of female and male bouts. MVPW-03 is part of MVPW, a new year-round global platform for women’s boxing from MVP, showcasing the sport’s most elite female fighters with championship bouts on every card. MVPW-03 will begin at 9pm ET / 7pm MT on ESPN.
