ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Baseball fans can mark their calendars, the Altoona Curve are gearing up for another action-packed summer at Peoples Natural Gas Field with the release of their 2026 home game schedule and fireworks dates.
Opening Night will kick off the season, Thursday, April 2, when the Curve hosts the Harrisburg Senators, the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. The night will feature the first of 19 post-game fireworks shows planned throughout the season.
According to a release from the team, the 2026 season will feature mostly 6 p.m. start times, with several summer games moved to 6:30 p.m. from June 9 through Aug. 1. The fireworks shows are spread across 69 home games, offering fans multiple opportunities to enjoy the light shows after the final pitch.
Special early games are also making a return, with Education Days scheduled for April 30, May 13, and May 20, all starting at 11 a.m. Fans can also expect a Camp Day game on July 29, beginning at 12:05 p.m. Early-season Saturdays in April and May will feature 4 p.m. start times.
While the Curve will be on the road for the Fourth of July, Peoples Natural Gas Field will host a special America250 celebration honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary. Details about the event will be announced at a later date.
The 2026 season is once again presented by Stuckey Automotive. Fans can view the full game schedule, including fireworks dates and special promotions, on the Curve’s website. Season ticket and mini-plan packages are currently on sale.
