The Denver Broncos (.512) have the 15th-hardest strength of schedule ahead of the 2026 NFL season.
Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs (.536) have the fifth-hardest SOS, followed by the Las Vegas Raiders (seventh; .529) and Los Angeles Chargers (ninth; .522).
Formulating a strength of schedule ranking is, admittedly, an inexact science because it's based on records from the 2025 season. Every year, rosters change across the NFL with some teams taking big steps forward and others regressing. But it's an interesting reference point going into the offseason.
The Cleveland Browns (.429) have the easiest SOS and the Chicago Bears (.550) have the hardest — at least on paper. View the full list below.
The Broncos also ranked 15th last year with a .505 strength of schedule based on 2024 records. Denver went on to claim the No. 1 playoff seed in the AFC with a 14-3 record.
