After missing her first career WNBA game on Sunday due to a lower leg injury, Indiana Fever center Aliyah Boston made her return to practice on Tuesday.

"Everything's great, I'm feeling great. Ready to practice, get out on the court with my girls, so I'm excited," Boston told reporters.

Boston indicated that it was her call to exit the Fever's May 15 contest against the Washington Mystics.

"I mean, it's just my lower leg, I've definitely had some moments with that, so for me it's just about taking it day to day. I think the coaching staff and medical staff have done a great job talking to me, making sure, asking me how I'm feeling and just kind of going off that," Boston said.

The 2023 No. 1 overall draft pick hasn't felt the lower leg ailment has hampered her when active.

"I feel like when I'm out there, I'm good to go, and if I'm not, then I'm making sure that I want to be the best. So, if I'm not feeling the best, then I can't perform the best, but for the most part I've been feeling great," Boston said.

Boston is cleared to return on Wednesday night as no players were listed on the Indiana Fever's game status report for Wednesday night's contest against the Portland Fire. Tipoff between the Fever and Fire is set for 6 p.m. CT and the game will air on USA Network.
