Just days after Algeria's elimination in the quarter-finals of the 2025 AFCON against Nigeria, the Algerian federation has made its decision regarding Vladimir Petkovic.

In recent hours, Algeria has answered a burning question that Fennecs supporters have been asking since the quarter-final exit at AFCON 2025: Should Vladimir Petkovic's tenure come to an end? The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has made its call and decided to reaffirm its trust in the former Bordeaux coach through to the 2026 World Cup.
