I think Dockett can play DE.

I think people get to caught up on the height and weight of the player and not his skill set.

Reggie White. Best DE I have ever seen.

Then there are the second tear "big" DE's like a Richard Dent or Michael Strahan.

With the quickness off the snap, the power, and the atheletisism of Dockett he could play DE, and I think he could be perenial All-Pro there.

Not to pick on you, but Reggie White is the exception not the norm for tackles that settle in at end.

Why not take a guy who has the potential to be SPECIAL at end, for a guy who's posted a career best 7 sacks at the hybrid end/tackle? Dockett is quick for a tackle, but would be average at end. And he would be taking on the best offensive lineman (left tackle) on a down by down basis and IMO would be a marginal pass rusher.

Branch has played well this year, but lets not kid ourselves he hasn't been dominate and by no means has he played well enough to factor him in as a future/current starter. Like I said earlier, he would be great to have as a super sub, playing some LE and NT on rush downs.

If Bowers is there, draft Bowers and we'll have our dominate pass rusher for years to come. But I'm leery of the idea that Whisenhunt would want to change us to a 3-4; He's coached on 3-4 teams for awhile and I think he believes too much in it.

Sweet:

1: Bower/Miller
2: M. Wilson
3: OT

Starting to all come together. :D

Von Miller will not be the impact 3-4 rusher he has been in the college ranks. The guy has no moves, is only a speed rusher and will get nullified by any smart d coordinator.

He may develop, but He's got a learning curve IMO since he needs to develop more physically. Some team will fall in love with him in the first round and he'll end up post an average of 3-5 sacks his first 3 years in the league. JMHO, but we need a guy that can be a good starter immediately.

I am on the Bowers wagon... Bowers, Williams, Dockett, Cambell with Branch subbing in @ DT, NT, & RDE.

Dockett, Branch, Williams, Cambell on run downs. I like it.

I would move AW to OLB opposite of Washington.
