The Alabama Crimson Tide will officially be a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
The Tide will face No. 11 seeded Rhode Island in the opening round of play. Alabama enters the matchup with a 23-10 overall record on the season, as the Tide were nothing short of elite on the offensive end of the floor throughout the majority of the year. Rhode Island holds an extremely impressive 28-4 record this season, as the Tide will undoubtedly need to be at their best against the Rams in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Alabama’s matchup vs. Rhode Island will take place in Louisville, Kentucky on March 21. The Tide have officially been named as the No. 6 seed in the Regional 3 - Fort Worth bracket, as Alabama will look to make a push towards a national championship throughout the course of March Madness. Rhode Island will certainly stand as a legitimate test for the Tide in the first round of play, but Alabama will ultimately enter the matchup as the likely favorite.
