According to a report from On3's Hayes Fawcett, Alabama Crimson Tide offensive lineman Olaus Alinen has entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Alinen, who has spent the past three seasons in Tuscaloosa, is the third Crimson Tide offensive lineman to enter the portal this offseason.

A member of Alabama's 2023 recruiting class, Alinen has spent the past three seasons in Tuscaloosa as a backup offensive lineman, seeing action in a combined 30+ games. Alinen also appeared in every game this past season, coming on both special teams, as well as a reserve offensive lineman.

Prior to Alabama, Alinen was considered as the nation's No. 167 overall prospect in the 2023 cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Alinen was also considered the nation's No. 14 offensive tackle that cycle where he attended The Loomis Chaffee School in Connecticut.
