Alabama football has another 2028 commit.

Ryquan Butler, an unranked linebacker out of Noasulga, announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Tuesday, July 7, choosing Alabama with offers from programs such as Ole Miss, Florida State, Mississippi State and Auburn.

He reported an Alabama offer June 1 out of Loachapoka High School.

Butler is the fourth member of Alabama's 2028 recruiting class joining Virginia quarterback Charles Scott Jr., Tennessee defensive back Braylen Gibbs and Maryland linebacker Dustin Henry.

Butler stands at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, per his X, formerly known as Twitter, profile.

As of Butler's commitment, Alabama does not have a linebacker committed in the 2027 recruiting class.

With Butler, Alabama has the No. 2 overall 2028 class, per 247Sports' composite rankings.
