The high-profile recruitment of five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan is expected to come down to in-state rivals Alabama and Auburn.
Morgan (6-foot-4, 210 pounds) plays for Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Alabama.
The standout receiver is one of the top players in the class of 2026, currently ranked as the No. 2 player at the position and the No. 20 recruit overall (On3). Morgan caught 106 catches for 1,784 yards and 18 touchdowns over the past two seasons.
Despite Morgan entertaining other major programs like Florida, Clemson, Georgia, and Colorado, his recruitment has reportedly come down to an Iron Bowl battle, as Alabama and Auburn are the top contenders.
Head coach Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide hosted Morgan for the spring showcase on April 12. He previously took an unofficial visit to head coach Hugh Freeze's Tigers last year.
According to On3's Steve Wiltfong, Alabama is predicted to sign Morgan. However, Auburn is the "biggest challenger" with a busy visit season approaching.

“He loves the program, the staff, the track record of receiver development and there is a lot of support of Alabama in his family," Wiltfong wrote. "Auburn is considered the biggest challenger.”
Freeze and Co. got the better of DeBoer in the 2025 cycle, as the Tigers signed nine of the top-15 players from the talent-rich state on their way to a top-10 class (247Sports).
That's not to take away from Alabama's efforts elsewhere. DeBoer and his staff signed the nation's No. 3 class, including three recruits ranked within the top-15 nationally.
Morgan has official visits scheduled to Colorado (May 9), Georgia (May 16), Clemson (May 30) and Florida (June 6).
Notably, Morgan's final two visits of the summer will be back in his home state at Auburn (June 13) and Alabama (June 19).
