Karim Benzema has officially signed with Al Hilal on Monday night, joining the fierce rival of Al Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo plays.
Furious after receiving a contract extension offer he considered disrespectful, Karim Benzema has indeed left Al-Ittihad for Al Hilal in this winter transfer window. While the specifics of the deal have not been disclosed, the Frenchman officially joined the current Saudi Pro League leaders on Monday, signing a contract that runs until June 2027.
This transfer, even before it was finalized, irritated Cristiano Ronaldo. The Al Nassr captain was reportedly frustrated by the mismanagement plaguing his club in Saudi Arabia, especially when compared to Al Ittihad and Al Hilal.
