In the past year, AJ Dybantsa went from high schooler to BYU star and now potential No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick.

Along the way, he received an NIL deal with Nike that is set to continue as a professional partnership as Dybantsa prepares to enter the NBA.

Dybantsa reclassified to the class of 2025 in high school, becoming the No. 2 prospect in his class per 247Sports. At BYU, he didn't skip a beat, averaging an NCAA-leading 25.5 points on 51% shooting, earning two votes for the Associated Press Player of the Year award.

Now, with Dybantsa all but guaranteed to enter the NBA in 2026, he now has his own signature Nike logo. Here's everything to know about this new partnership.

AJ Dybantsa Nike logo details​

Dybantsa's brand-new Nike logo features a star, formed by five check marks, a blocky variation of Nike's signature logo. Dybantsa's focus with this logo was to personalize it, using his initials.

"I've always dealt with pressure ever since I was younger. In creating my new logo, Nike and I liked the metaphor of pressure forming diamonds and at the same time forming a star with my initials." Dybantsa told Nike's Aaron Dodson.

The winner of the draft lottery will not be known until May 10, when the order will be fully decided. Safe to say, however, that the teams who receive the top picks will certainly be taking a closer look at AJ Dybantsa's skills and perhaps his new signature logo.

AJ Dybantsa Nike contract​

Dybantsa's original NIL deal with Nike was formed in January of 2024, over a year before Dybantsa was set to graduate high school. This deal reportedly expired in June 2025, but Dybantsa is back with Nike in this expanded, professional capacity.

“They’ve believed in me since day one,” Dybantsa told Ben Horney of Front Office Sports. “It was kind of a no-brainer…some of my favorite players—Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant—were all Nike partners.”

It's currently unclear how much Dybantsa will earn from this new professional deal, although his total college NIL earnings from BYU, Nike, Red Bull and others totaled around $7 million, according to Front Office Sports.
