Per Sharp Football Analysis, the Steelers are ranked No. 18 in strength of schedule heading into 2026, set to face off against fearsome competition like the Houston Texans, Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots.
Here is a look at the AI-predicted 2026 schedule for the Steelers, where they compete in four primetime matchups and have an ideal bye week.
What jumps off the page right away — hilariously enough — is that AI predicted the Steelers to face a divisional opponent in four out of their five primetime matchups. And while that's highly unlikely for the official NFL schedule release, it highlights the high-stakes, competitive nature of the AFC North.
Overall, the AI-predicted schedule did a pretty good job of balancing easier and more difficult matchups throughout the season, with arguably the toughest stretch of games coming in Weeks 4-6 against the Patriots, Ravens and Jaguars.
