I was told on Monday Simmons had been cleared by the NCAA, but it hasn't been made official yet. Heard today it's a paperwork issue and ASU had to send back some stuff to make it official. Expect to see Simmons play on Saturday.

FYI. This guy's an amazing athlete for the position. He could be a fate changer for the entire OL.

He's been cleared and will likely start at RT on Saturday (Finkenberg is suspended the 1st half for a DUI).

This kid needs a ton of work. He's definitely athletic but he didn't play high school football and missed all of spring, summer, and fall practices this year (only participated in a few fall practices). Hopefully he can pick things up quick, God knows we need help.

Lol. Peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars but will Simmons make the quick adjustment from Juco that the Suns Devils need from him? Or will he fall prey to the injury curse that's hit this O-Line every year for awhile now?
