Congratulations are in order to Pittsburgh’s own Pat McAfee and the success of his entertaining event, Big Night AHT—no thanks to Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers, who made regular appearances on The Pat McAfee Show and is considered one of McAfee’s closest friends, had the perfect layup to finally win over fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers who have been growing tired of the waiting game—and he blew it.
There was a surprise Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback appearance, but it was the legendary Ben Roethlisberger—who, I might add, looked great throwing during the event.
Early in the 2025 offseason, fan outcry against Rodgers coming to Pittsburgh was strong. His continued delay in making a decision—despite the heavy speculation—will likely only strengthen the growing narrative that the four-time MVP simply isn't welcome in the Steel City.
Is it more than likely that Rodgers will wait until after the 2025 NFL Draft concludes to make his decision, and if he chooses to do so, will the Pittsburgh Steelers draft a first round QB as a plan B?
