A.J. Brown's tenure with the Philadelphia Eagles will be defined by rampant success and constant controversy.

Although Brown deactivated his social media accounts a day before the trade was officially announced, he did not leave town quietly.

A new report from Mike Garafolo said that the three-time All-Pro wide receiver left an unambiguous note at the Eagles facilities after being traded.

"The best to ever play here. Always open," the note read.

This was perhaps Brown's last dig at quarterback Jalen Hurts and the Eagles coaching staff. The main gripe in his final season with Philadelphia was the stagnant passing offense.

Brown posted his lowest yardage total in his four years with Philadelphia, and he blamed it on the, at times admittedly awful, play calling of first-year offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo.

Maybe his latest display of ego is enough to comfort Philadelphia fans who think the team may not have made the right choice in letting Brown walk.
