It hasn't been discussed much yet, but trading back into the 1st round could be a viable option this year depending on the OL available where we pick in the 1st round. There should be a good one available.

if they were to just pick an oline at 15 there will be some guys worthy of that pick.
But if we draft a QB, then try to trade up... all of the guys worthy of a first round pick will likely be gone....we can do just as well with #47, if we are drafting a center we can probably wait until the third... tough call with olinemen, there are some really good ones in this draft but if there is a run they could dry up by the middle of the second round.... fortunately WR is really deep this year so we can address QB and oline in the first two rounds and still get a very good WR in the third.

Always like people finding stuff to ponder. Thanks Dan .

I just found this one weird that it seemed to have a lot of exceptions.

Blaine Gabbert passed
Matt Leinart passed
Ponder passed
Schaub passed
Orton passed
Kolb passed
Fitzpatrick passed

Alex Smith failed
Favre failed
Rodgers failed
Big Ben failed
Newton failed

Some of them he labeled as exceptions. Still though. If you have to bend the rules for it to work, it's not really a rule.

I also wouldn't say Cutler busted.

Kaepernick failed... but he both failed and succeeded in the NFL. You have to say a guy who QB'ed a team in the Superbowl at least had some success in the NFL.

It just doesn't seem like too good of a rule if the wrong guys passed, the right guys failed, and some on either side were 'exceptions'.

There were quite a few it got right, but overall it wasn't very accurate.
