The 2022-23 Taunton Daily Gazette Girls Basketball Player of the Year is taking her talents to Chestnut Hill.

On Wednesday, April 22, Seton Hill freshman guard/forward Natalia Hall-Rosa announced via X that she is transferring to Boston College.

"Coming back HOME," Hall-Rosa wrote, accompanied by one picture of her sitting in the BC locker room in an Eagles uniform and another of her in uniform on a graphic showcasing the Boston skyline saying "committed."

Hall-Rosa announced she would be entering the transfer portal via X on March 25. In her freshman season with the Pirates, she averaged 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per game coming off the bench. The Randolph native made 25 appearances for Seton Hall, averaging 9.5 minutes per game. She made one start against Villanova, putting up 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in an 82-52 Big East loss on Feb. 26.

Hall-Rosa began her high school career with Randolph before transferring to Bridgewater-Raynham for her sophomore season. During her tenure with the Trojans, she averaged 13.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore and 19.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game as a junior to earn Player of the Year status. Her best performance for B-R came in her final game, putting up 33 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks in an MIAA Division 1 Elite Eight loss to eventual finalist Bishop Feehan.

Following the 2022-23 school year, Hall-Rosa transferred to The Rivers School in Weston, MA and reclassified to the Class of 2025. During her time at the prep school, she eclipsed a combined 1,000 career high school points and helped lead the Redwings to the 2024-24 NEPSAC Class B title.

Hall-Rosa now joins a BC squad coming off a 5-26 campaign, but entering a new era under new head coach Kate Popovec-Goss. She is the second local transfer landed by the former Bradley University coach, following Norwell native Grace OIiver's commitment on April 16.
