San Diego has not been kind to the Athletics. They dropped the first game of the weekend series last night and fell again this evening 2-0, ensuring a series loss for our squad and dropping the team back to the .500 mark at 26-26. Now the Athletics will have their backs against the wall tomorrow as they hope to avoid a series sweep at the hands of our NL West foes and maintain their grip on first place in the AL West.
