The Indianapolis Colts have listed seven players inactive for Sunday's matchup with the LA Chargers.

On game days, teams were permitted to have 48 players active.

Two practice squad elevations for the Colts this week, in addition to the 53 players on the roster, means that seven players have to be inactive.

Colts vs. Chargers Week 7 inactives

  • RB Tyler Goodson
  • OL Luke Tenuta
  • DT Eric Johnson
  • WR Josh Downs
  • WR Ashton Dulin
  • TE Will Mallory
  • S Reuben Lowery

Downs (concussion) and Dulin (chest) were both ruled out on Friday after neither player practiced during the week.

Goodson (groin) was downgraded from questionable to out on Saturday.

AD Mitchell will be available this week after being a healthy scratch against Arizona. Laquon Treadwell was also elevated from the practice squad, while Ameer Abdullah was signed to the active roster to boost the running back depth again.

This week, Eric Johnson is out. Whether it is him or JT Tuimoloau who is available is game plan specific and dependent on whether the Colts want an extra defensive end or defensive tackle.

Lowery just joined the team earlier this week after being claimed on waivers. Mallory and Tenuta have both regularly been inactive this season. Mallory has appeared in one game this season.
