It’s been a long offseason. But fortunately, the Philadelphia Eagles are transitioning into the preseason with organized team activities (OTAs) starting this week.

The Eagles opened OTAs on Tuesday. They’ll have two more sessions this week (Wednesday, Friday) and another three next week before a pair of mandatory minicamp days in June.

A.J. Brown’s impending trade dominated headlines throughout the offseason. So did Jalen Hurts, a host of coaching staff changes and an intriguing 2026 draft class.

But the Eagles made multiple moves on the margins in free agency a couple of months ago — low-risk, high-reward signings that might have been forgotten about already.

The Eagles are +180 to win over 11.5 total regular season games on DraftKings for the 2026/27 NFL campaign. Our complete DraftKings Sportsbook review provides a guide on how to use their app. Also, our NFL futures betting guide has you covered if you’re interested in learning more about how to bet on NFL futures.

Here are five under-the-radar free agents we’re keeping a close eye on during OTAs.

EDGE Arnold Ebiketie: Trading for Jonathan Greenard on draft weekend was arguably the biggest move of the offseason. Greenard, a 2024 Pro Bowler with the Vikings, gives the Eagles three starter-caliber edge rushers with Jalyx Hunt and Nolan Smith. But don’t forget about Ebiketie, the 27-year-old who signed a one-year deal worth up to $7.3 million. Ebiketie had 12 total sacks in 2023 and 2024 and could find that form again in Philadelphia.

CB Jonathan Jones: Riq Woolen was a splash signing. But Jones could carve out a role. The 32-year-old, who signed a one-year deal, has a ton of experience. He made 71 starts for the Patriots from 2016-24 (and won a pair of Super Bowl) before starting seven games for the Commanders last year. He has familiarity with new Eagles secondary coach Mike Pellegrino, who was an assistant with the Patriots. Don’t be surprised if Jones adapts quickly.

RB Dameon Pierce: Tank Bigsby is expected to back up Saquon Barkley again. And the Eagles didn’t draft a pass-catching back to challenge Will Shipley for the third-down specialist role. But it’ll be interesting to see if Pierce has any juice and can push Bigsby and Shipley. The former Houston Texans ball-carrier was impressive as a rookie in 2022, racking up 939 rushing yards. Since then, he has just 745 yards from 2023-25.

WR Elijah Moore: DeVonta Smith, Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks and Hollywood Brown can be penciled in as the Eagles’ top four receivers, probably in that order. But these OTAs will offer Moore plenty of 7-on-7 sessions to show what he can do. There’s a chance Moore will be cut come August. But he has the talent to be a real contributor for the Eagles this fall if he can gain Hurts’ trust early in the summer.

LB Chandler Martin: All of the Eagles’ free agent signings were given one-year deals with one exception. That’s why Martin, who inked a two-year contract, stands out a bit. The former Baltimore Ravens contributor offers special teams value and can contribute on defense, as well. Jihaad Campbell missing OTAs might give Martin the opportunity to turn some heads.
