Indiana made history on Monday night and the Big Ten program is now celebrating its first National Championship this weekend. The Hoosiers are turning their celebration into a recruiting weekend.

Multiple blue-chippers are making the trip to Bloomington, including local five-star wide receiver Monshun Sales, the top prospect in the state.

Indiana got Sales to campus multiple times during the fall and the 6-foot-5, 200-pounder is strongly considering staying home to play for the Hoosiers at the next level. Alabama is currently trending for Sales in the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine, but IU is in the top group alongside the Tide and Ohio State, among others.

“You can see Indiana can compete against the top teams in the nation,” Sales previously told Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong. “The opportunity to play in front of people I know and possibly be a part of the change happening at IU is exciting.”

In 10 games as a junior, Sales caught 37 passes for 794 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 21.5 yards per catch. He also started at safety and had 56 tackles.

Sales is the No. 8 overall prospect and No. 2 WR in the 2027 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. IU is eyeing an elite 2027 recruiting class.

The Hoosiers now have four commits in the fold, as of Jan. 24. The haul checks in at No. 20 in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings early on.
