With Cincinnati’s minicamp coming to an end, it’s time to look at some players who could capitalize the most on a good showing in training camp in July.

Tight End Erick All

The Cincinnati native missed the entire 2025 season with a knee injury but may be the most talented hybrid tight end on the roster in terms of run blocking and receiving.

At just 25, All still has a lot of football ahead of him. The priority is health, and if he can stay on the field during training camp, he could inch his way up the depth chart, as there are opportunities for him to get snaps this season and in the future.

Cornerback Tacario Davis

Given the Bengals’ contract situation at cornerback, with both DJ Turner and Dax Hill potentially vying for extensions at some point this season, any positive news regarding the development of Tacario Davis would benefit the Bengals on multiple fronts.

Both financially and on the field, Davis’ 6-foot-4 frame gives him a very high ceiling as the prototypical long cornerback who thrives in today’s NFL.

Offensive Tackle Amarius Mims

This isn’t really a snap-count or contract point I’m making here, but more of a recognition that there is still a lot of untapped potential in Mims’ game.

Orlando Brown Jr. talked about it with James Rapien and Jacob Tissot of The First Word, saying Mims is “somehow” getting faster and stronger despite standing 6-foot-8 and weighing 350 pounds.

Mims has an All-Pro ceiling and feels like he is still just scratching the surface. He could spearhead a huge year for the Bengals’ offensive line, which has all five starters returning in 2026 for the first time since Joe Burrow became Cincinnati’s quarterback.

Defensive Lineman Myles Murphy

Murphy had his best season as a Bengal in 2025, posting 52 tackles and 5.5 sacks as he, like Hill and Turner, looks for a possible extension.

In such a loaded defensive line room, finding a way to separate himself from the pack — which now includes players such as Dexter Lawrence and Cashius Howell — is very important for Murphy in a crucial season.

Center Connor Lew

Lew appears to be the center of the future for the Bengals, which could begin as soon as next season, depending on Cincinnati’s confidence in him after this season.

Ted Karras will be a free agent after this season and will turn 34 in March of 2027.

Lew was considered a value pick by the Bengals and could have a huge year learning under a veteran such as Karras before possibly sliding into a major role in 2026.
