hard not to overreact - petzing quit playing on his last drive - rallis once again let a subpar qb look like joe montana

the cards can't help where they run the ball or when - kyler can't audible easily in those conditions- two delay of games when he tried- petzing can kiss my whole ass - runs conner on 3rd and 4 but dropback passes on 3rd and 1 infront of our enzone

rallis - you soft marshmallow ass - dafuq happened to you man - this isn't preseason - this is a divisional game and your 4 man is straight garbage

petzing quit and rallis was neutered in the offseason - am i overreacting?

im not mad at kyler - or the defense - or the o-line - we got outcoached as much as we got outplayed - unacceptable

what does gannon do btw

A lot of blame to go around.

Oline continues to underperform.

The drops were horrendous.

But the ultimate blame still falls on the coaching, especially JG for allowing all this. Which is worse, Petzing continuing to be the worst/conservative playcaller? Or JG having the power to change it but continuing to allow it?

im not taking this loss well - that last drive petzing lined 18 tight ends on one side so the defense overloaded to that side - and petzing ran right into it - he just didn't care as long as the clock kept running but it didn't- the whiners called time out twice in a row and had the two minute warning - madden players know to anticipate time outs - you get the first down - then run meaningless plays to run the clock WHEN THE MATH ADDS UP after they're out of time outs

Here’s the worst part…Nothing, absolutely nothing will change. Zero accountability will be taken. Zero F’s will be given by JG.

Losing Connor may be the only silver lining, perhaps his loss plus this embarrassing loss will cause them to pass more.

I’m starting to seriously wonder about this coaching staff as we still appear to do exactly what we shouldn’t do to close out games. And this is Year Three for this staff. In fact, it’s looking like we got the worst of the triumvirate in Philly since their former OC has Daniel Jones playing at an extremely high level. Meanwhile, our HC (the former Philly DC) and coordinators seem lost, especially when the pressure is on. I’m seeing a team of decent personnel being let down by poor coaching. Yes, some brutal drops today, but even Jones’s late drop was because our OC had the offense run into the teeth of SF’s D-line twice, thus forcing that critical 3rd and long. Poor teams often do this (predictable run-run-throw), when instead mixing it up would keep the opposing D guessing. Damn. I don’t want to be starting over, yet again, with a new coaching staff next year, but I’ve lost faith with this current group as it appears unable to learn and adjust.

Couldn’t agree more.. how you didn’t learn to close out games after the pathetic conservative play the 1st 2 games is beyond me.. it also tells me nothing will happen as far as changes

I’m with you DaHilg, but also thinking beyond this season. JG’s ultra conservative “kick the FG to go up six” in Minny last year should have been his time to learn how to effectively close out games. Troubling that nothing has changed.

The worst part of this loss is how screwed we are for Thursday night. The Seahawks are a horrible matchup for us, we're almost certainly looking at 0-2 in the division.

everyone relax.
this team is gutted from injuries. Make it to week 6-8 with a .500 record then full court press.
Bruh- I would love to use that excuse but we just lost to a team playing a back up QB missing 2/3 of their most prolific offensive weapons. Injuries are no excuse

No over reacting here.
It was a hard fought divisional suggest and we lost the heartbeat of our offense to injury...
The only thing I'm bummed about is Rallis going back into that shell defense at the end when the pressure had just worked for us on the previous drive.
Mac Jones was crumbling and Rallis backed off

I believe JG is the reason we have conservative play calling. Whenever we get the lead we go conservative on both offense and defense. I almost thought we were going to a no prevent defense in the 2nd quarter with a 3 - 0 lead.

Say what you want but the drops cost us the game. The MHJ drop may not have scored but the Demarcado drop cost us 4 points
agreed - but despite all that we still had a lead and the ball with less than 2 and a half minutes to go

petzing decided it was ok to give the whiners the ball back with 2 minutes to go - best i can muster is petzing thought (maybe it was gannon?) our defense could win the game last they had the past 2 weeks - screw petzing he needs to do his job

enter rallis - who decided to let mcaffery beat us because that's what happened - never thought rallis would be on my ish list but he's right up there with petzing - if petzing just tries to get one more first down... if rallis could've figured out what the whiners were doing.... we make all those drops and still win the game

gannon needs to check these two pronto
