Defensive linemen are set to work out at the 2026 NFL combine today, kicking things off in Indianapolis. The D-line isn't a pressing need for the Rams, who have Kobie Turner, Poona Ford and Braden Fiske locked in for another year together, but depth is a slight concern. That opens the door for the Rams to add a rookie in the draft.
Here are four big men for Los Angeles to watch at the combine on Thursday.
Jackson brings outstanding size to the defensive line at 6-foot-5 and 330-plus pounds. He can play over the center or as a 3-tech, and while he doesn't offer a ton as a pass rusher (14 pressures in 2025), he could help the Rams as a run defender. His big, long frame would give the Rams a different type of defensive lineman up front on early downs.
Proctor is someone who could wow scouts at the combine with his athleticism. He is slightly undersized at 6-foot-1 and 275 pounds, but with his explosiveness and agility make him an exciting prospect. Last season at Southeastern Louisiana, he had 39 total pressures, including nine sacks, according to PFF.
Keenan's pass-rush production for the Crimson Tide was pretty underwhelming, but his run defense grade of 73.7 last season was better than average, according to PFF. He can play nose tackle or in the B-gap, giving the Rams some added depth on the interior with his 6-2, 320-pound frame.
Benny is somewhat of a tweener along the defensive line at 6-foot-3 and 297 pounds, but the Rams don't always covet size up front. PFF credited him with two sacks and gave him an 84.5 run-defense grade, showing where he excels as a defensive lineman.
