BEDFORD, Pa. – Four Chestnut Ridge athletes captured individual titles at the 37th annual Thomas Automotive Wrestling Tournament Saturday inside Bedford High School.

Senior Dominic Deputy claimed his fourth crown at 127 pounds, while teammates Kooper Deputy (107), Jayden Imler (189) and Garrett Weyandt (114) each earned gold.

Dominic Deputy, a 2024-25 PIAA Class 2A champion and North Carolina State signee, defeated Burrell's Cam Baker 8-1 in the final. Kooper Deputy pinned Tri-Valley's Owen Wolfgang in 45 seconds. Imler recorded an 8-3 decision over Greenville's Hunter Cox, and Weyandt beat teammate Carter Ickes 5-1.

Central Cambria's Hadyn Strittmatter dropped a 9-1 decision to Bethlehem-Center's Mason Wright in the 133 final.

Burrell repeated as team champions with 180.5 points, topping Huntingdon (179) and Chestnut Ridge (177.5).

Berlin Brothersvalley's Lukas Smith (127) and Central Cambria's Burke Niebauer (139) each came in third place. Berlin Brothersvalley's Dawson Shaffer (152) and Conemaugh Township's Carter Christ (107) each finished fourth.

Berlin Brothersvalley's Carter Durst (172), Meyersdale's Gianni Browne (285) and Somerset's Sammy Sheeler (152) all came in fifth place. Central Cambria's Jeremy Hajzus (189), Chestnut Ridge's Trenden Willey (139) and Meyersdale's Cooper Porter (172) and Brennan Schardt (145) each finished sixth.

Bedford's Carter Kozielec (139), Chestnut Ridge's Austin Bernash (133) and North Star's Kasey Yoder (189) all came in seventh place. Bedford's Cuyler Hale (160) and North Star's Cameron Barnick (121) each finished eighth.
