The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos square off in the AFC title game on Sunday, and the loss of quarterback Bo Nix has so many questioning whether or not Denver can knock off the resurgent powerhouse. That question became the premise for a sketch on this week's Saturday Night Live as the comedy show took on NFL on ESPN.

James Austin Johnson and Andrew Dismukes took on Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, respectively, with host Teyana Taylor as sideline reporter Lisa Salters.

"Well the Broncos have nothing to be ashamed of," the One Battle After Another Oscar-nominated Taylor said during the pregame hit. "They had a great season and shouldn't hold back their heads, just hold their heads high."


They also cut back to Salters on the sideline with "a fan" that turned out to be backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham.

Patriots-Broncos kicks off at 3 p.m. ET on CBS.
